JulieO I think I'm going to have to get the BBC Good Food. I buy the magazine each month but it is $9.95 and then a month late as well.

Indeed a great price, Meagan given I thought I had a great deal when Kitchenware direct did a $399 price match with Victoria's Basement after I used their instant price match service back in October  :)  :)

That is a good price.  I paid $100 more than that when I bought mine in Aug 2010.

Cookie, buy one of their mags and see what I mean about the recipes. I only paid I think $5.50 for it too.  The only thing is that I can't get a couple of the ingredients listed with it being the UK, though I haven't gone into it too much yet; I'm sure I could find an alternative.   :)

How much does it take in one go? Have any of you out a double batch of the edc icecream in it. I always do double batches ;)

I've just bought an induction hotplate for the van from Deals Direct. We plan to use it in the caravan. That and the TMX will make life a dream.

Meagan, I haven't made the EDC ice cream so unsure how much that makes.
I think the machine can make 1.5 litres at a time so if you wanted to make more you could churn one batch, remove, then do another batch straight after.
If you had the freezer bowl model you would have to re-freeze the bowl for 24 hours between batches.

Is that making a total of 1.5lt or putting in 1.5lt of liquid? Doesn't it increase in size when it churns??

Aww thank you Cornish, lovely of you to offer  :D

Meagan I just measured the bowl and it holds 1.5 litres to the brim but you wouldn't fill it totally of course.  :)

Thank JO I think it would work as the tupperware container I store the double batch in is 1.3 litres.
