When you’re enjoying yourselves time flies cookie, catch up on some sleep another day.

I’ve had a very busy and fruitful day, workers arrived to install shade blinds on the pergola whilst I was washing the car.  I had already cleaned the driveway and under the pergola with my blower.  Vacuumed and washed the floors then went to feed DH before coming back to await a friend and her friend who stayed for a few hours and took many cutting from my bushes to make a Christmas wreath at their garden club next week.  Looking forward now to dinner out with Katie & Richard.

Judy, blinds look lovely.
Say hello to Katie and Richard from Ral and me.
Spending a bit of time at Telstra shop. Issues with both iPad and phone. They have been very helpful and nice . Feel a bit of an idiot as I don’t really know what is going on.
At least I can get into the Forum.

Love the scissor story KAtie.
Gorgeous blinds Judy.
Chookie hope it's all sorted for you soon.
Today I am chauffeuring DS(24) and some of his friends to a Christmas party, doing more Christmas shopping, then going to Bikram yoga this arvo to "chill out" in the hot room.

Nice blinds Judy.
I went down the street this morning for a few items and wished I had stayed home.  There were two markets on, the streets were chaotic and parking was scarce.
The  man who said it can't be done should not interupt the woman doing it.

Judy, how does he do it. He looks so good.

Took a loaf of Olive SD to the lady at Creswick market. She sells good quality flour, nuts dried fruit and grains.  She always looks after me.  It amazes me that such a simple gesture can give so much pleasure.

I went with DH today to see his Mum. She was telling me that she had been sad and crying during the week. I said it was to be expected, having lost her eldest son.  Her reply made me feel sad, she said she missed her Mum and Dad and felt so far away from them.  She is 89 and was taken from her home in The Ukraine at the age of 13 to work in Germany for the war effort.
Poor old thing, she knew she should be feeling sad, but couldn't remember why.

Completely understandable cookie, poor dear.
Geoff didn’t remember our house, I didn’t think he would by the way he’s been talking but having lived here for 20 years I was hoping it would all come back to him after 4.5 years away. Even his tank and medal corner which I’ve kept as is didn’t ring a bell.  I now know that I can put it all away without feeing guilty.  He said it was a nice house though!

Cookie and Judy, both sad occasions. Can’t do much about it except continuing to carry on being your supportive selves.
About to head into a chaotic week. Not looking forward to it.
