Name of Recipe: Chocolate Mascapone Dessert with Strawberries
Number of People: 6
Ingredients:
100g Bittersweet Chocolate/Dark Chocolate
70g Roasted Almonds
80g Sugar
250g Mascarpone
400-500g Greek Style Yoghurt
2 punnets/500g hulled Strawberries
Preparation:
Hull strawberries and sprinkle with 1 Tbl og sugar. Let them rest for a while in fridge to draw out the juices. (Option - add splash of Cointreau, Muscat or Tokay)
Grind chocolate and alomds to corse consistancy, 8 sec/speed 6. Remove and set aside.
Add sugar, mascarpone and yoghurt into bowl and mix for 30secs, speed 4-5. Adjust sweetness ro your liking by adding more sugar or a splash of maple syrup.
Pour mascarpone into glass bowl or individual glasses. Spread chocolate almond mixture over the top.
Keep refridgerated and add Strawberries just before serving.
Tips/Hints:
The presentation looks better using glass bowl/glasses

Simple, but great - thanks for sharing.
I make a similar dish with some grog in the marscapone/yoghurt and use it as a dip for the strawberries and other fruits.
And another 5 "tickets"

I also made the same dessert but poured Frangelico over the marscapone.....as well as mixing some in the marscapone...I also layered the nuts/choc mix with the marscapone instead of putting all the mix on the top...and i used mixed frozen berries as the fruit and also poured cointreau over the fruit
the kids didnt have any!!!!

alina, this sounds DIVINE, i think it might have to be on our christmas menu (i am skipping ww for the day lol)

Karen isn't it hard with a wonderful machine like a thermomix? I have just discovered that it makes lemon butter to die for, and risotto and for any type of white sauce I don't need to stand there and stir, AND as an added bonus I don't get lumps in the white sauce anymore.
Very hard to be strong willed when it is so easy to make some of these things. ::)
