Chookie take care of that sciatica. Chicken sound very French and I had forgotten about putting butter and herbs under the skin . DH can cook chops roast vegetables and mash cooked in the microwave, he has embarked on cooking salmon when I do yoga .

K ATIE, love the way your whole family can cook.
I come from a long line of very good cooks, yet my DD and DS are very average cooks. Fortunately my DIL is an outstanding cook.  DD makes amazing salads But doesn’t bake at all.
Cold with a bit of rain today.

The chicken sounds very tasty Chookie. I hope the sciatica is improving.

It rained all day yesterday.  Miserable weather.
Electrician has offered me more Cumquats.  The last lot I made into marmalade was voted best ever.
Ral’s platelets have stabilised.  No blood test for 2 months.
Microwave has gone to factory to be fixed.
I’m furious about the Budget.  How can woman work or study if no help with child care. Woman make up 1/2 the population. I could never have done what I did without generous support from friends and family.  Through my education I was able to add Millions of $ toward the Governments budget.

Excellent news re. Ral's platelets, very happy to hear that.

I think the budget almost always benefits men more than women and it leaves c. 1/2 the population spitting mad every time. Do we have a comparative budget from when Julia Gillard was PM ... not that she was allowed to do much considering the atmosphere in parliament at the time, but it would be interesting.

Good idea Marina but I don’t think Julia was allowed to do what she might have liked to do.  They Seem to only elect woman when the party is in a mess.  Have to say that Queensland and NSW are doing well with strong woman. To say nothing of NZ.
I’ve got strong pills for my Sciatica and to have an MRI.

Great news about Ral’s platelet levels Chookie.

All good here with DH and I. COVID-19 is doing it second wave here in the UK. The north of the UK seems to particularly hard hit by the virus, DD said that her hospital ICU is filling up again this time with younger people.

I’ve been chuckling at your comment Chookie that you are blaming everything on Covid. 😂 I also chuckled at Ral’s cooking skills. My DH is probably at the same level. 😂

CC, so good to hear from you.  How is the new house going?  I have just found a box of goodies that I hadn’t unpacked after shifting 4 years ago.
Weather here is warming up a bit.
Strong pain killers for Sciatica. Can only take them for 3 days.  Then off them for 2, before another 3 days. Helping a bit.
Neighbours loved the loaf of Japanese Milk Bread. Will make them another one. So easy.
Making progress with my tomato seeds. Attereofprogres, they might produce tomatoes in 2 years time.  >:(

Cripes, Chookie, what a day you have had today.

A younger friend of mine uses a hearing aid and she was showing it to me one day .. it is tiny!  They are so small now that no one knows you are wearing one.  What a difference it will make to your hearing.
