Very nice Judy.
I'm planning to make some biscuits this afternoon.

OMG Judy, you are so good and generous typing up my very long recipe. Thank you. I hope people try it after your effort. I tested the recipe after putting it on my Blog. Gave it to the nurse who lives next door. She is in charge of a Palliative care hospital. They have had a really tough time lately. She took it to work.
Judy, love the look of those rolls. Thanks for the link.

Thank you Chookie, glad to help out.  I’m sure your sponge was appreciated by the hospital staff.

I made another lot of Florentines. I bake them in the muffin top trays that Judy gave me. Perfect for this.  I had some melted chocolate left over so brushed it on some Almond Biscuits.

So this is embarrassing but two very close friends have decided to give me a sixtieth B’day lunch today , l am trying my best to keep calm , not knowing anything is driving me nuts but I am very  grateful .

Yesterday we opened up the ham.  It is a massive 8 k . We love ham on the bone so order a big one and give most of our family, friends and neighbours some. It tastes nicer and has a much better texture than boned pressed ham.
Yesterday I attempted to copy the savoury nut mix that I bought at Source.  The flavour is exactly right but not strong enough. Think I will have to reduce the liquid more before adding to the nuts.

That’s a beauty Chookie.  I used to buy myself a part leg of ham and some prawns every Christmas but it’s an expense now I don’t need. Your recipients must really appreciate your generosity.

It’s a beauty Chookie. I bought our second ham when shopping last week. It was round 6kg. The ham on the bone tastes so much nicer. I made some mini Icecream things from a Haigh’s recipe today. Very fiddle but the lick is had tasted lovely. https://www.haighschocolates.com.au/recipes/haighs-triple-chocolate-christmas-semifreddo
I also made an Olive bread from Maggie Beer. It was delicious. I used my own method.

Making a sponge for the nurses at the palliative care hospital. Lemon butter cream filling and Passionfruit icing.
Tomorrow , visitors for morning tea and lunch.  It will be a very interesting day as one of the visitors is like myself and will have a go at cooking anything interesting. Although I haven’t met her, she often sends me stuff to taste test.
If time allows will make some more Florentines.
