Judy, the Burnt Orange Marmalade was delicious. It is similar to Maggie Beers Burnt Fig Jam which is very popular, and expensive. It is called Charmalade.
I’m going to start to grow a new SD mother today.  There is a lot of pollen in the air at the moment so may be able to capture some good bugs.

I have a casserole in the oven at the moment.  Just using up some meat that was in the fridge.

Also a batch of Chookie's FKM bread for rolls.

I love Maggie Beer products, especially her beetroot relish. Good luck with your new sour dough starter Chookie.

Beetroot relish is one of my favourites too Judy.

I made a Classic Loaf today and also some Malt biscuits.

Nearly forgot, I made some of Tenina’s Umami today as well. I haven’t made it for ages.

I made some Strawberry Cinnamon Scrolls. I rolled them from the long side of the rectangle to them smaller. https://www.notquitenigella.com/2020/09/14/strawberry-cinnamon-buns/

Before I cooked them.

I did a batch of Tenina's Vanilla jam the other day.
I have been hearing about Lala's bread recipes for years. I think she had a blog but then closed it down. I found a link to an ebook of her bread recipes so downloaded it. This morning I made one of her loaves. It goes in the very large bread tin. Her bread doesn't have 2 rises, only a 15 minute rest for the first time. It looks good. I will be interested to see how it tastes.
I will post the link to the book if I can find it again.

This recipe is from thermomumma.

Cookie, your bread looks very nice.

I made some shortbread and some jam drops today.  The chocolate ones are for the GC who will be here tomorrow.

Would be interested in that bread recipe if possible. Cookie.
Made some Burnt Orange jam.  Mine was not as good as the one I tasted. Made 12 jars, not good enough to give to anyone.  Any Ideas. ?
