Well done Judy and Jo. That snuck up on me. I checked the site around midday and it was still the soup.
Fantastic news.  Now we get to do the 'cook off' and vote.

Are you going to fly streamers from the blades of your Thermomix on Sunday? I'm cheering for them too.

Welcome Aline. It must be hard to cope with your son's problems. I hope the Thermomix is helping.

This looks delicious. We love quiche and I'm always looking for slightly different ones. Having feta in it is a big plus as I adore feta.

Thermomixer Mrs T must love you and all your cooking. It all looks lovely.
I haven't tried pasta in the TMX yet. I have a pasta machine but haven't used it for about 5 years.
I especially loved the dark pasta- squid ink pasta??

The slow cooker is cooking us a curry (for another windy, cold day here!!!!!!) and the TMX is doing the Naan bread and rice and probably a few green vegies in the Varoma.

Chit Chat / Re: cream
« on: September 21, 2009, 07:37:22 am »
My Mum used sour cream or milk to make her scones. I have never tasted scones or puff pastry like she could make. She just had the 'knack'.  All she ever did with the scones was the cream/milk and 3 cups of SR flour and water if she needed it. I can't do it at all. She broke all the rules by kneading the mix and it was always very wet and sloppy. They tasted amazing.

Welcome Sharon to the crazy mixed up world of the Thermomix forum. Everyone here is so helpful and there isn't a day goes by that I don't learn something from it.
We look forward to hearing about your successes and of course the failures that we all have.

Uh Oh, Queenslander are in front now. What a pity I've already been counted.

It certainly seems that TMX is really going ahead in Qld. Great news.

Too true. It's only when I'm really running late and then I'd probably end up taking a chilli pill!
It's called organisation. Doesn't happen too often-not since I retired.
