At least you were answering. There is nothing worse than trying to present to an audience where no one gives you any feedback or won't answer any questions.

DD helped me cook from about 2 or so. As soon as she could stand on a chair and help. She would often make her own 'cakes' and then we would put them in the microwave to cook as she invented as she went along. It was only ever a spoon of this and a spoon of that so not much was wasted. She never seemed to demand that we eat them-fortunately.
As soon as she was old enough she mixed etc, licking as she went.
When she was old enough to cook alone I insisted that she clean up the mess. But once she started washing dishes I'd usually dry them for her. She's now a great cook, very inventive still but they are edible now.
She used to get to DH's sandwiches for work after I'd made them and add sprouts which he hates. He often found raw carrots and things in his lunch box. I think it became quite a laugh at school for the guys to see what she'd added each day.
I should get him to return the favour to her lunch box.

I must agree, though with only 3 of us to feed I have become quite good at looking at all recipes and deciding if I need to only make ½. There are still the times when we have enough to feed an army or someone gets fed from the freezer as there's not enough.

This certainly looks as though it would be tasty. It certainly changes my ideas of 'raw'.

Our very first recipe in the section. Congratulations.

No I don't think so. I've left my red pen behind.
Iactuallylikedusingall differentcoloursformarking.

I need the red pen now for no spaces!!

I certainly didn't mean to offend TMXer, he's too nice for that and helpful. Just thought someone MAY get a little hurt at having fatest (fattest) there, instead of fastest. That's the sort of errot I make.

It's almost like standing watching the fully automatic washing machine for the first few weeks after you buy it, or rushing out to check it after it makes a new sound.
I think I'm almost too scared to leave the TMX alone-after all he is only 10 months old!

Sadly I am one of those people who just won't/can't eat offal. I remember removing pieces of offal from the sheep when Dad killed them on the farm. I promised faithfully to Mum that I would eat it, but of course never would.  I just enjoyed being allowed to remove it myself using my own 'little knife' I had for the job.  I should have been a butcher I think. :P :P

Our get together last night was fantastic fun. I did Sundried tomato and Capsicum dip from the EDC, 5 Seed bread, and the Broccoli Timbales. We also had (all made in the TMX) a yum olive tapenade with lovely thin crackers (done with a pasta machine). strawberry and ginger sorbet, a wow chick pea soup, chicken and vegies with a delicious sauce from the varoma, Fish pie with potato topping, pears in red wine and zabliagone. For afters we had fudgy wudgy cookies and Carrot and White chocolate cake I had made earlier with chai made in the TMX.
I really enjoyed it and the lady who thought of it is to be commended as it's a great idea.
I don't really know if the only non owners will purchase a TMX but they certainly seemed to enjoy the food.
