... even the employees have to QR Code in when they come to work!  I wonder if DH and I have to run outside, then come back in and code in when we come through the door. :-\

Such sad news, CC. Chance was such a big part of your life for so many years, there will be an empty place in your hearts now where he once resided.

We must do our roses soon too.
We attended my Aunts funeral and I caught up with lots of cousins that I rarely see. I think 2 of them were about 65 years since I saw them. ( my Aunt's sons). One of them said that I had changed. I thought that was rather funny.
Condolences on the passing of your Aunt, Cookie.

Yes, I think there is an outside chance that you may have changed in those 65 years!

Cookie, I would be lost without internet banking, but you are right, you do have to be very sure and double check everything as much cannot be reversed once you press that Submit button.

Today we are back to normal at work (well COVID normal anyway) - staff back, people to talk to and interact with, it was really great.

I don't know why I waited so long ... yesterday I bought two electric blankets - one for the city one for the country.  Don't need it so much in town, but our house in the country is perishing cold in winter so it will make a huge difference.  I was thoroughly amused to see that one of the makes (not the one that I bought) gives you the option of turning it on or off by using their app.  How technology changes everything!!!

I'm fine now, Cookie, thanks for checking up on me.

K Atie, a wet back stove or heater is one that is plumbed in to also heat your hot water.

Chookie, I had a similar experience yesterday, making the shepherd's pie. I went to get some flour to thicken it only to discover that DH had used up every last grain of flour (it's as well we have got an order due for delivery today) ... I was stuck, couldn't have shepherd's pie with a runny filling but then I found some psyllium husks I had forgotten about as well as some red lentils hidden in the back of my cupboard and that saved the day.

Also, Chookie (and everyone else who orders and gets their groceries delivered from the supermarkets) do you often experience problems or is it generally a pretty good service - we have got a choice between Coles and Safeway/Woolworths.

What a day K Atie ... I guess the one good thing is that you have a stove to get something warming cooked.  Does it have wet back to heat your water?

Re. Astra Zenica reaction - I can think of far worse reactions than wanting to laze around a bit and have the occasional snooze. :D

It is too. I tell my self that it has apples in so must be sort of healthy.
I can't argue with that logic, Cookie

Lucky you, Margaret, getting a hair cut, I feel my hair is beginning to look a bit like a haystack!
