Marina, setting up the NBN really is a pain in the rear end.  I hope all goes well for you once you are connected.
The  man who said it can't be done should not interupt the woman doing it.

Thank goodness we had DD to sort ours out. We had to buy completely new phones too Marina.
I hope it all goes well and works brilliantly.

We got rid of our landline years ago as people were ringing our mobiles when they wanted us so it never got used. It was quite painless when we changed over to NBN but of course a landline is needed when you are running a business.

We had planned to do the same JulieO as most of our friends had done so. However when the NBN came through we decided to keep it as it all was under one charge.
Today I am sitting at home waiting for a tv repairman to call. We bought a new tv some time ago (actually DD decided she wanted it, so she bought it). She bought a Sony and last week it died. Naturally it's under warranty. So here I am waiting.

Wow that’s not good cookie - breaking down before the warranty is up.

Today, after reading on FB that my beloved Port Adelaide Football Club was making their premises a collection point for food for the fire victims I decided it was time to clear out my cupboards of all the cans etc that I am no longer able to use on a Keto way of life.  I buy in bulk from Costco so I had plenty and it’s no good giving it to DD as they are doing Keto as well. Nice to be able to contribute to helping those poor souls who have lost everything.

Wow Judy!  A win win for both you (in clearing out unwanted things) and to the recipients to get such needed food and toiletries and even chocolates.  :D

You’re so right Julie. When  I heard about it, it was the perfect opportunity to clear out the cupboards, I had been thinking about who I could give everything to.  I was their 25th contributor today and that was only up to 1.15 pm.

My goodness Marina what a headache for you to sort out.
Did the TV repair man arrive Cookie?
A great donation to such a worthy cause Judy. I bet everything will be well received by those in need.

Marina I feel for you non is such a pain too . Judy what a great idea well done .
So I’ve been a bit quiet as the days seemed to busy for me too . DD seems to be settling in at Melbourne uni yr 12 step up , the first night they were to go to logon st for gelato but not able to because of the smoke . DS had helped with Nipper comp on Monday , he has not stopped all this time so we had a breakfast at surf club , another morning walk along the beach . Everyone left and it was just DS and me for our last night , we watered the garden for DM using the bore water pump . Washing sheets and towels . DS was keen to get up and pack the car to hop on the ferry ! Well it was like trying to do a jigsaw puzzle , DD had taken her whole room we decided . The trick is to leave enough space to get food for home that has nothing ! We did a rush shop with DS at my heals to hurry ! Got to ferry one minute before it left . Long trip home stopping at a butcher to get meat , officeworks , and even a Woolworths to get a soda stream cylinder . Home to a big mess and ,angry face here, make dinner for two harvest paddock drop off . Top it off I’ve been slightly unwell with the strangest dry irritating cough .

I hope your cough clears up KAtie. We have friends over here that have coughs for almost 12 months. They have had all sorts of tests and nothing.

Well done on the donation Judy. I donated $$$$$ as food is pretty impossible from here.

I’m exhausted reading that KAtie.
The tv man arrived and seemed to replace the entire tv except the legs! At least it is working well and DD can watch Peaky Blinders on Netflix!😀😀😀😀😀
