I've been silently stalking the forum since August, having 3 of my sisters who already own a Thermomix, I've been biding my time until i finally took the plunge! I put my order in on the 11th September and had my demo last Sunday! I'm now waiting patiently for my new toy to arrive, even the darling BF is pretty excited to use it :)

Will have to get them all to join the forum!

Same here - there's so much useful information, and I appreciated finding the info about the possible new model before I ordered...

am from Cairns and have owned my TMx can 5.5 years. We are lucky up here. Our bread will rise with the normal beautiful warm weather. A great advantage. How you sisters are joining. The forum as well. Perhaps we will have a Forum Fest :onext year on the east coast of the mainland where we can meet up!

I only cook for 2! Both myself and the BF work FIFO and are home 2 weeks a month, he's just as excited to use it as I am!

My friend and I bought ours at the same time some years back and had fun with both of them on my bench and our husbands cooking prawn risotto for eight of us. Enjoy

Got a txt from my consultant today letting me know my status has changed to dispatched yipee :) will be all ready to go when I get home from work on the 16th!!

Did a quick trip down to Canberra 'Thermie' in tow, my SIL and i cooked up a storm made (not in any particular order) custard, risotto, apple pie, vanilla bean paste, yoghurt, BCB Meatball, Quirky's Chocolate....

Had a fabulous time but very happy to home where it is warm :)
