Surprise visitors
« on: October 05, 2013, 01:34:27 pm »
Today I had a lovely surprise visit from Cecilia and her DH! Lovely to see both in real life. My phone's been out of order, so Cecilia was finally able to contact me this morning via the forum with a pm. She had Ralph came this arvo and stayed for a cuppa, a visit to the farm and a tour of our little town.

We chatted as if we'd known each other for years! It's amazing how much we had in common.

The funny thing was, I'd just made Fiona Hoskin's (Cecilia's upline in the TM business) Full o' Fruit Slice this morning. So we enjoyed that with our cup of tea. How's that for a coincidence!! ;D
A great cook is one who can rustle up a fabulous family meal with some freezer burnt chops, wilted carrots, sprouting potatoes and cabbage that's gone brown on the cut edges.

This "I know you even though we've never met" phenomenon is great isn't it!!!  It sounds as though you had a really lovely time together!!

It is always lovely to meet another forum member and put a face to a name!  Wonderful that you had a nice time together.

Really great that you managed to get together and that you had a nice time.  Also good that you had some TMX goodies on hand to share.
You haven't failed at anything until you stop trying.

I'm also pleased to say that I had Chookie's No Fuss Bread ready to go in the oven and it came out looking magnificent!
