Judy, for nutrition tables go to https://www.verywellfit.com/recipe-nutrition-analyzer-4157076 - it is a bit of a nuisance as it is American centric so at times a little approximate for Australian needs, but it will give you a good start.  Just enter in your ingredients, quantities, etc. and go from there.  If the recipe calls for water, or herbs or small things like that, that don't really have any calorific value, just don't enter them.

Thanks Marina, I have just managed to work out how to use the one Chookie told me about but I’ll have a look at this one too at some stage.  I need another few hours in the day to sit with the iPad on my lap, it’s very time consuming with al the reading there is to do when you change your way of eating.

I’ve been trying Chookie’s app too. It’s a bit of a nuisance at first but then you can look at recent foods to add, if you are eating similar meals. I do for breakfast and lunch.

I really dislike having to work out the macros in recipes, it’s so time consuming, I like making recipes that have all the figures worked out for me.  For lunch today I just fried up some mushrooms, zucchini slices, a couple of spring onions and a leftover piece of fresh tomato. When it cooked down I added some cream and fried an egg to go with it.

Walked into the nursing home and 2 people commented on my weight loss - I must be doing something right.

I have my rye SD rising. It grows quickly in this weather. I will cook it later in the day as it is 36 again.

I bet that put a spring in your step Judy.  So nice when people notice.  :D

I made a miso mushroom meal for me yesterday with some silken tofu (Michelle Bridges).  Don't normally like tofu but the silken stuff was nice, in this meal anyway.  Not sure what the difference is between silken and not but I liked it better.  Will make again.  :)

Having an egg on toast today.  GS arrives soon so I may not be around much  ;D

Have a good time with your GS Julie.

The only thing I did was open a bag of mixed salad leaves to make a salad to go with our dinner tonight.

Well done on the weight loss, Judy, it is a real boost when people congratulate you and say that you have lost weight.
