Many years ago we lived in Kalgoorlie for a while but never got to see the wildflowers ... I would love to get over to see them sometime.

Haircut for me too today, it seems to grow quicker in lockdown LOL
Me too, Judy, mine is driving me crazy.  I actually made the appointment a few weeks but couldn't get in with my hairdresser until today ... fortunately I made the appointment and decided to just grit my teeth and see it through, then the lockdown hit but it was lifted just in time!!

Chookie, a couple of weeks ago you were asking about nutrition breakdowns for cooking ... I came across this today and it looks good:  https://www.verywellfit.com/recipe-nutrition-analyzer-4157076

Also, how did your jackfruit experiment/s go?

Never mind, K Atie, as my lovely father in law once said to me "... at least it will grow again". Also, have you tried using knee pads / protectors for when you are kneeling?  I have some that I use when I am gardening and they make a huge difference - you will usually find them in hardware stores or gardening centres.

Raging wind here last night as well, but I don't think there was much, if any, rain.

Shop re-opens again today.  It will be good to have everyone back at work.

Vege macaroni and cheese, roasted veges, Mediterranean vege bake and vege stew.  Some neighbours have been dropping heavy hints about how much they loved last week's cookies, but I didn't have time to make any more ... they will just have to wait.

What a busy, productive day, Cookie, you must have been sick of cooking by the end of it.

K Atie, try RTE's potato and leek soup - my DH loves it.  I don't zap it till it is smooth as he likes a few lumpy bits of potato to chomp on.

Marina the blue sky wasn’t an aberration, we had a little more of it today. Rain is forecast though.
Good to know it is still up there ...I am looking forward to seeing it again!

They’re in lockdown and not able to work either Chookie.

Love it.
We saw the sun today. One of the popular weathermen asked what the blue sky was.
... blue sky? Must have been an aberration!

I think you could be right about the new normal, Chookie, and I am not expecting to be free of COVID for a long time yet (although I hope I am wrong about that!)

There is one thing that is good during lock down ... I am getting the chance to clear out my freezer so dinners are becoming a bit of a 'lucky dip' - tonight it looks like soup, but it could be anything, just depends what I grab first!

I don't know if there have been any comments yet on her Oatmeal Raisin Cookies, but I made some yesterday.  Didn't have raisins so used cranberries, which worked really well.  There was too much sugar so next time I would use less and use a bit more cinnamon.  Nonetheless, the cookies were really delicious.

On thinking about my first sentence, does anyone think it might be a useful idea to highlight the name of the recipe at the very beginning of each post, i.e. capitals and bold to make it easier to search?  Just a thought
