I haven't frozen my vegie bits and pieces, would they need to be blanched? When I'm going to make vegie stock I save all the bits for the week or so before, but am not sure re freezing.

We rushed out to a talk on Solar power on the roof last night so dinner was a bowl of soup and a roll from the freezer.
Tonight will be something using the chicken breasts I got for last nights dinner.
