The other night we had the Beef and Ale Pie from FFS. I'm not sure if someone on here posted the YouTube link for Rough Puff Pastry but I made that. It was so very easy and tasted lovely too.

The lady doing the Rough Puff Pastry demo on you tube is actually my consultant.  She is a lovely lady and was so helpful to me when I first got my tmx and had no idea how to use it( mine was a gift) and I had no demo first.

I am actually going to a pastry demo with Maria on the 10th Oct., this is the first stop on our holiday :) :) :).  Maria is a chef and also runs a cooking school in South Gippsland which I'd love to go to it one of these days.

I'd love to go to one of her pastry classes. I believe they are fantastic. This recipe avoids all the rolling and folding and tastes delicious. I'm going to use the left overs to make an apple pie.

I made some gnocchi tonight and served it with Vegies, burnt butter and sage.

A few of them were for visitors the other night. I must admit that we didn't have any problems getting rid of the leftovers into our tummies. Tenina's calendar and her Nifty but Thrifty book have inspired me too as so many of those recipes suited us.

Last night we had a veal roast dinner, tonight i have prepared a chicken roast dinner - ready to cook, but we have just been invited out!!!  :D
