We had a Smoked Salmon &. asparagus Frittata. I've been sorting recipes on bits of paper and ones cut out of magazines and that's where I found the recipe. I made a toss Salad to go with it, using the Mint Vinegarette recipe from one of the earlier Thermomix calendars. All very tasty.

We had Chicken Pies made in my pie maker.One stuck,bit of a mess digging it out :o I think I overdid it with the filling and it bubbled out.I gave that one to DS ;D

Very non vegan tonight (much to DH's delight) Dukkah crusted chicken breast with vegies and strawberry crepes for dessert.

Just catching up a bit and read your post Cookie about making your own pastry mix; I have been meaning to do that for ages to make a fruit cake we love but it has a packet of pastry mix in it so keep putting it off. Must get going and do it.

Thankyou for your nice comments. This week I'm meal planning out of the pantry and freezer.
Have a bit of a mess in the bottom shelf of the pantry and would like to clear it out. I bought a couple of extra tupperware containers at the opshop (80c for 2) to help me out.

We had Quirky Jo's Chicken and Brown Rice soup tonight with a sort of Foccacia. Instead of something on the top this had Parmesan and char grilled vegetables in the middle of it. It was very tasty.

A great dinner Cookie.The Foccacia sounds extremely good.

A wonderful forum friend directed me back to this great recipe when I said I had three tins of Creamed Corn rolling around in my cupboard. :-)) I have made it before but had forgotten all about the recipe.We all enjoyed it for dinner tonight. :)

We are having leftover Quirky Jo's curried Quinoa with Eggs, not quite enough so I will grill a small piece of Salmon each. I could do with a protein hit!
