I've felt a bit zapped by the heat this time. At least the Scorchers won the BBL final tonight. I was glued to the TV for it. We are supposed to get a storm and rain tomorrow.
May all dairy items in your fridge be of questionable vintage.

Mine will too fortunately. DD often turns her nose up though. Tonight was burgers.

Lovely burgers Cookie.One of my DH's favourites.

I made Shepherds Pies yesterday (3) one we ate last night and we are having another tonight.The third is headed for the freezer.

Yes Chookie I cooked them in the new oven. I used the burst of steam. I didn't prove them in there though as it was warm/hot in the house.

I have DS and DSTEPD nursing broken hearts at the moment. DS has moved home to the Granny Flat and step daughter has found a rental. Tonight I've made a huge quantity of bolognaise sauce so I can give to DSD with enough to freeze. Luckily DS is a butcher so the meat is free.

Yesterday I cooked a piece of beef in the SC while we were in Melbourne for the day. When we got home I removed the meat, skimmed off fat and TMX the veggies and used as gravy. Served with green beans and cauliflower steamed in TMX.
Tonight we are having grilled veal chops with Asparagus and silverbeet from garden.

Michele, nothing like a good Spaghetti Bol to make things better.

I made this lighter version of Chicken Cordon Bleu http://www.skinnytaste.com/skillet-chicken-cordon-bleu/comment-page-2/#comment-137152 - it was delicious.  I served it with half a jacket baked potato and leek & broccoli au-gratin.

I'm not that keen on mustard so halved it and used mozzarella cheese instead of Swiss.

Sorry, no photo - I just had to hop in and eat it!

Judy, that does look nice. No wonder you couldn't wait to hop in and eat it.
We had chicken breast wrapped in prosciutto and baked in oven for 15 minutes. Lovely.
Also baked a loaf of plain wholemeal bread. Nothing fancy but very nice.
