We had Tart's Tart - I cooked a rib steak for DH & I had the leftover chicken from yesterday.

A very yummy, homely looking meal Judy :)

we had roast lamb, potatoe, carrots, cauliflower, peas & gravy.

left over potatoes for our bunker ;D, storm not hit us yet.
H :)

Sounds good Hally! ;) I heard that the storm is going to hit later than they originally predicted... :-\

Tasty, today especially was sunny, you can see it dappled on the table/plate where we sat.  The porch where I take my photos gets the best light for taking photos and it's where I prefer to take them.  I'm not a big fan of artificial lighting but now that winter is here, if we are eating late then there's no alternative. Thanks for your comment.  :D

On our way down the coast to visit our dtr and family, a 2 1/2 hour drive  Only for the day but won't be home until after dark so probably scrambled eggs or beans on toast tonight.  We were up at 5.30 so it's going to be a long day but worth it :)

I bet your photography could make it look like a gourmet meal though Julie :D

Maddy, at first I didn't realise that you'd quoted Julie, so I thought you'd cooked EXACTLY the same meal as her and somehow plated it up EXACTLY the same way... LOL its only 7:30am and I didn't sleep last night... thats my excuse for being so slow anyway ;)

Well, it's a non- TM dish tonight (doesn't happen very often).
Pork loin chops, pan fried chips and a big salad - we love salads but don't have them very often in Winter.....think we need to though as the winter kilos are already stacking on :-))
Have some TM chocolate ice cream lurking in the freezer so will have some of that for dessert - maybe that's why the kilos are coming on???? ;D

Chow mein tonight with potato wedges.

I've waited longer I think Uni...but the letter I received recently told me mid June delivery......so fingers crossed any day now.
Think I'll give the chicken stroganoff a go tonight, from the devil c/book.

Roast chicken, potatoes, sweet potato and pumpkin with steamed broccoli and cauliflower, followed by slow-cooked bread and butter pudding. A perfect winter meal I think ;)

I'll post photos later :D

Very true Amy. We don't have chips very often and it's nice for a change from veggies all the time.
