San Churro hot chocolate!
« on: November 04, 2010, 01:34:28 pm »
Holy cow! I bought my hubby some San Churro Aztec hot chocolate (the one with chilli & cinnamon) for his b'day.  We made it tonight in the TMX.

It is the most decadent warm drink!

Yummmmm!!!

OMG we have just had them open here in Rockingham and I have so far manage to avoid them as I see a HUGE danger sign flashing over them  :-)) :-))

I took my boys to San Churros for a special morning tea last week!  They love "stick donuts"!  So do I.......and yummy hot chocolate too.

That sounds delicious!!!  I love chilli chocolate, and cinnamon - I wonder if I could make my own version with some raw cacao, ground up cinnamon sticks, and ground up dried chillies?  Is there anything else in it?  :)

Otherwise, my MIL lives in Rockingham and I'll be over to visit early next year!!!  ;D

Jodi I had to google San Churro to find out what I was missing out on! LOL.  Sounds very decadent and a perfect treat ;)
As it turns out it looks like DS couldn't eat or drink anything there so I am glad there isn't one nearby to tease us.  :-X

It's certainly not the sort of thing you'd have every day because it is quite expensive.  Worth every cent! but only as a treat for me.

You could very easily make your own.  Not too hard at all. Especially because the TMX will mill everything for you. SCRUMPTIOUS!!!

Yes please. That would be lovely as we make quite a few of your recipes, you are famous.

Oh, you guys are so sweet - I'd love to come to one of your get-togethers and meet you all!!!  I'll be over there in February, but I'm not sure of the dates yet - I'll have to find out.  (It's for some training at Thermomix HO, but I hope to fit in some visiting with friends and family too!!)  Maybe we could all meet at San Churro's!!!!  ;D

Junior Group Leader training  ;D  (as long as I finish my Go-getters by mid-December - shouldn't be a problem though, nearly there!)  :)
