Good morning everyone.  Overcast this morning may warm up later.   We are off to get our flu shots today and then grocery shopping.

Drive carefully with all parts of you crossed Marina. I will be thinking of Ral tomorrow too.
Cool weather here at the moment.

10 mls ( 40 points ) in gauge and raining this afternoon.
Rals platelets have dropped to 10.  Next 2 days at Day Center at hospital for infusion.  :-\Specialist is requesting permission for the use of another drug.  We wait in anticipation.  Our local Labour Member is the Labour Health minister.  I said I would contact her if necessary.  I think Ral and  Specialist were a bit surprised.   ;D

I would love to write to someone and tell them that Ral needs the drug as I'm sure all other forum members would do.
Hopefully the specialist has no trouble requesting the different drug. We would all do everything we can for close friends and family. You tell them Chookie.

I did think of seeing if we could get a petition up on here to support Chookie's request for drugs for Ral, but I am not sure if it would work of if we could get the numbers ... would it only be applicable to Victorians?  Just a thought

Go for it Chookie and good luck.

A strange day here weather wise. A mild 17 deg., very overcast and lots of rain overnight.  Who knows what the day will bring.

Thanks everyone. The main problem with the new drug is that it follows the removal of the spleen.  Ral is not well enough and too old for this op.
Lovely rain and lots of it overnight.
I bought a loaf of gluten free fruit bread.  I toasted a slice.   It is absolutely awful. Will try and made some.
