Those plants are so beautiful cookie, it never ceases to amaze me how wildflowers can exist in such dry conditions.
Going down memory lane, how good is that!

Beautiful wildflowers Cookie. How lovely to see them growing in their natural habitat.

Those flowers are amazing, Cookie ... when I first saw them I thought they must have been arranged by a florist.  Is each wreath a single plant / flower?

Lovely flowers Cookie, they remind me of our trip to the west.

Cookie, thank for the beautiful photos. Love the wildflowers.
Katie, your DM is so lucky to be at the new Cabrini Cancer center.  She will be well looked after.  The hospitals select the very best nurses for the Cancer Centers. The treatment will be tough and she will need lots of support.  You need to assure her that you are looking after  HER GC, your kids.  She doesn’t need that extra worry.  Pace yourself as there will be a long recovery period.
Let off stream her if need be.  We have all had our struggles one way or another.

Wise words Chookie.

The wreath flower is one plant but the flower consists of lots of little flowers around the edge of the plant.
Today we pulled out of the caravan park and drove downtown to wait for all our friends who are doing a tour in their Model A. We rang them last night and arranged to take them to see all the wreath flowers. I think they appreciated it and it was fun. When they pulled in to get fuel in Morawa it created quite a stir. I also met up with a man whose Dad I knew well.

Wasn’t that great that you could catch up with your friends cookie?  Vintage cars do create a lot of interest wherever they go and I’m sure the owners of these vehicles are very appreciative of the interest after the hard work they’ve put into restoring their cars.

Yesterday a friend and I joined this tour and thoroughly enjoyed it.  Nice company and plenty of food on the tasting platters. https://foodi.com.au/food-safari-adelaide/
Our favourite place was Gallery on Waymouth Street, would go back there in a flash.

I should have taken photos cookie but I didn’t even think to do that.  Amazing bread, duck pate, different dips, cheeses and a very nice thick quince paste which was a real paste texture, fruit on some cheese platters, prosciutto and ham and that sort of thing, arancini balls, calamari strips, roast potato pieces with a thickish red/orange dressing (maybe a capsicum relish). I did try crisp little pickled cornichons for the first time and enjoyed a few of them once I got used to the taste. The only thing I didn’t try was a skewer with a pickled clove of garlic, a piece of pickled banana pepper and a stuffed olive plus I don’t eat prosciutto unless it’s on a pizza. I’ve probably missed some things. Plenty of everything but what was missing was a dessert selection anywhere. We were invited to post our reviews and I’m sure the others would have mentioned the lack of sweets. They’ve had sweet or chocolate tours, an Asian food tour plus there’s a beer tour currently going. We  bumped into some young girls on that tour and I realised why they were so happy when they told me which tour they were doing.  They usually only take a group 4 times before posting a new and different tour.

Sounds like fun Judy .
Well it has been busy . DD lost thier finals but played so well it was great . DS won a trophy for U16 hockey for most committed player of the team at the hockey dinner . They both looked very smart at the dinner .
DM strarted her second week of treatment yesterday . Gosh cemo and radiation . So glad I was there . Blood test first up which showed DM was anemic so blood transfusion needed after cemo  , her blood pressure was up so then they had to get it to go down . We got to Radiation at 5 pm when we were ment to be there at 11.30 . Each day makes you realise that plans change and this is just the beginning. DM is good at the moment , luckily she loves to read .

Congratulations to the hockey stars KAtie. DM will probably get a lot of reading done. Take care of yourself too.
