Hi

I have recently joined and am now happy to say that the GF bread is awsome.

Thanks so much

ahoney I have found some organic tapioca flour that is preservative and additive free.  My local wholefood store stocks it The brand is lotus and it comes in 500gm packs and I pay about $5 for it.  I sometimes use this in custard if I am out of cornflour.  Hope this helps.

thanks, my health food shop stocks the non-organic one with the preservative in it, so hopefully they can get the organic one for me!

I made this yesterday for my gluten-free visitor, and it got a thumbs up as being better than the bought stuff.

So was the bread enough to convince your visitor to buy a Thermomix jkmt  ;) ;)

Judy, she has seen me using it constantly this weekend. She's only 19 though, and her budget seems to disappear on horse stuff!

I'm new to this site, having just purchased my Thermomix. Can't wait to make this bread! Can anyone suggest an alternative for besan flour as I have a bad reaction to chickpeas please?

Hi Beverlily, welcome to the forum with your first posting.  Why not pop over here and tell us a bit more about yourself.

Wondering if this information is helpful to you.  I don't know whether the end product would be the same though.  Others may have some ideas for you.

Thank you judydawn for this suggestion. I will give it a try and let you know of the results.

I have tried the 'introduce myself' page by clicking the spot, but couldn't see how to do so. I must be missing something very basic. I've even clicked the 'help' section but I can't find out how to introduce myself. ??? Might have to try again later when I can concentrate better (my 4yr old granddaughter is with me today).  :-\

Thanks again for your help.  :)

Beverlily, go to the Welcome page, click on 'new topic'.  Fill in the subject heading then in the box below tell us your story then click on 'Post'.  I know what it is like trying to work things out on a computer with youngsters around - not easy  ;D ;D
