Good Morning  :D
We have had some hot days here. Just looked up the weather for today and they are only predicting 26. Great if that is right.
Have a good day all.

Xmas day here in Melbourne is forecast to be a stinker, not looking forward to that.  I will enjoy today and tomorrow with more clement temperatures.

Morning all.
Hate the hot weather. Looks like a stinker for a few Day around Xmas. Glad we are having a cold lunch. Problem is when to bake the turkey. Might have to cook it in the BBQ so as not to heat up the house.

Good morning all, I am doing a cold lunch for the first time this year. ;)
we just want to stay home, and have friends here, for lunches, and lots of nibbles and drinks.

Hopefully we will get a storm over the weekend.

I did a wonderful BBQ turkey one year chookie. Did it beer can style using a large can, think it was a dog food can, it was amazingly juicy and delicious. Of course I had to bake the stuffing but flavoured it with some of the run off juice from the turkey.

Good morning everyone.  It sounds as if it's going to be too hot everywhere in Australia this year, too hot to eat, get lots of drinks in folks.

Chookie when we had a lot of people to feed over Christmas we always did our turkey in the Weber, also pork. When we had finished we used to do the neighbours for them too.  That was usually Christmas Eve.

Morning all.
Thanks Gert and Cookie for the info about the BBQ and roast turkey. Might have a practice run today with a roast Chook.
Uni, lovely. Nothing like a baby at Xmas. Eve has certainly grown. Best wishes to you and your family. Often think of you.
CC, see the Queen and Philip have also got the cold bug. Hope you are feeling better.
We are in for a run of hot days with the hottest Xmas day. 35. Oh hell. Although we have AC, think I will set all the cold food in dishes of ice. We will be having a buffet style/ help your self spread. Very worried about food poisoning.
