This (http://www.forumthermomix.com/index.php?topic=12079.0) cookbook by Alyce Alexandra might be just the thing to get your Thermie cooking again Helen with Low Carb recipes ;)
You can buy it direct from Alyce here (http://www.alycealexandracookbooks.com/) or here (http://www.hubandspoke.com.au/)
from Hub and Spoke.

I sympathise with you. I have recently done the same, and thermie has been a little neglected. Try making some herb pastes or spice mixes to enliven your meals. I'm looking forward to some cooler weather so that I can make some soups. I've made Hally's lamb and fetta patties, which are nice with Tzatizi in iceberg lettuce cups. Good luck with the weight loss

Here are some ideas I have for Low Carb Cooking:

1. Chicken Kiev or Cordon Bleu (no breadcrumbs at the end)
2. Chicken nuggets (just omit the breadcrumbs at the end)
3. Any type of stew, goulash, mince or concarne (hold the potatoes)
4. Blitz up some cauliflower and make cauliflower rice or use the cauliflower to make a pizza base (this is incredible.. soooo yum), you can also mash cauliflower (notato!)
5. Any of the TM salads (minus the apple or other fruits)
6. Dollop the TM mayo on everything... nom nom
7. Meat Loaf
8. Steamed chicken, steamed fish, steamed sausages in the varoma
9. steam your veggies of course
10. Make some yummy low carb soups... any "cream of..." soup is amazing... broccoli, mushroom etc
11. Make low carb sorbet - don't add sugar or add stevia as a replacement and use the berries instead of the higher sugar fruits..
12. Make your smoothies low carb by using cream and water instead of milk, add protein powder and berries, LSA or flax meal, coconut oil... YUM
13. You could make all your dressings knowing that there aren't any hidden sugars

Thats about it for now... hope this helps! :)

Oh I forgot, yummy dips... served with a plate of chopped up veges..

Also, isn't there low carb flour around?

And, there is also a noodle thats low carb, can't remember the name.. but great if you miss those dishes with pasta.. not quite the same though..

These look great - I'm going to give them a try when the weather is cooler. We were doing low carb before Christmas and will get back to it in the near future.
I like the tip for getting straight edges when rolling out the biscuits.

Thanks Uni. I like the idea of something to grab when you are peckish, instead of a biscuit.

had  these noodles for lunch a few days ago , very nice, made again for Frank and the kids last night they also enjoyed it

with only 0.5 grams of cabrs per 100g

the Herman's Brot pasta was awful , but if u like whole meal pasta you may like it, the bread they make is very good . 2.3 gram per slice
