Because I am in major work avoidance mode......I'm so over websites and pricelists today....An emperor penguin weighs between 22kg to 45kg according to wikipedia.....so I want to lose a small emperor penguin (or three large bags of dogfood) :P

Well at least we know now lol. Hopefully none of us need to loose a walrus :D

Cooking-ggod-looking, I just make mine up with whatever I have available but there are a few different threads on her and lots of information on the web. To any recipe I add a mixture of linseeds, chia seeds, almonds and sunflower seed for added goodness.

That cartoon reminds me of when a relative of mine decided she could eat as many marshmallows as she wanted to because they were fat free.  She wasn't happy when we tried to explain that it doesn't actually work that way.

This reminds of when I was at the gym last week, there was a gentleman on the scales and he kept turning them on and off and mumbling to himself, he then went and got one of the very young trainers and told her to check the scales because he was sure they were incorrect. The trainer weighed herself and said they seemed to be fine, the gentleman then insisted they were wrong because he was heavier than when he last got on them - the trainer then said to him "food and drink will tend to make you weight more so maybe you have just had more to eat and drink than you thought" - I found it hard to not laugh while I was doing my stretches on the floor beside them, they both then looked at each other for a minute and then walked away!!

Day 1 and I have been a good girl eating all the right stuff. Instead of grabbing something unhealthy on the run as a snack yesterday I had a bowl of yogurt with a banana. I had a big plate of veggies and a lean pork chop for dinner. I even ate breakfast (which I often don't )
They say it takes 3 weeks to form a habit, so it should become easier after that :D

I am interested in joining , but like others have tried and failed many times, only to end up bigger than ever and I  scared because I know I really cannot get any bigger. I am interested in hearing from those who have made successful long lasting changes to their diet snd kept the weight off and would like to know what a typical days food is like for them, portions, how much they exercise etc. I work around food all day long and it's really hard not to eat to much. I have been trying to create structure, so I have been having the dairy free protein shake, a yoghurt for morning tea, wraP for lunch, an up and go or rice cakes or something for afternoon tea then dinner. I think I eat to much dinner but I am so hungry after my long busy day!
