I am SO in love with my Thermomix.  ;D

Picked it up on Friday and had it unpacked and cranked by 2pm on Fri afternoon.  Made the kids a glorious mango sorbet, whipped up a batch of choc chip muffins and made some custard too. Nom nom...

Saturday night was a doozy though.  I was given the Indian cookbook and I made the Chicken Korma for dinner.  It was SO easy and so flavoursome.  You could always make it hotter by adding more chilli powder, but the basic recipe is lovely and tasty.  Not too hot for kids either.

Made some more custard for pudding. Mmmmmm...

Tonight was a big challenge. I had an hour in between one job and the start of another so I had to get home and have dinner cooked within that time.  I made Chicken and spinach risotto and had it in the thermoserver on the table for when DH got home with the kids.  Was nice and easy.  After sitting there for some time though, it did get a touch gluggy.

The best bit about this all, is that DH is getting inspired and looking through the books to see what he'd like to try.  Am feeling REALLY good about this. :)

Quick question for whomever is awake.

What does MC mean?
Um, also does soft mean the  ^^ button?

:: what do you use that for?

I've tried finding it in the books, but it's not really very clear.

Forgot to add  yes  ^^ = soft speed, and the  :: symbol is used when you make bread as it's intermittent for kneading.

NAh. Cheating.  Already have the bread mix.  Once I work out a nice bread mix, I'll make my own, but for the moment, we'll stick with the shop stuff.

All made and proving.

DH was pretty chuffed with his coffee too.  Very frothy.
Might have converted him to trying a few dishes too.

What wonderful exciting news the_vermins. I'm glad your DH is getting into it too.
