It's a great way to use up leftovers but it's been years since I made it.  When I was a kid, it was always a roast on Sunday and shepherd's pie on Monday nights.
It must have been an universal menu for the weekend, as it was the same in our house. :D

CC - I bought a set of similar cutters on Sunday(mine are metal). DS2 will be making the trees for his teachers.

I would like to know if this is best prepared, frozen uncooked or prepared, cooked, then frozen?Got to get a few thing flung into the freezer as my SIL and I are "GOING SHOPPING" next week.As you know DH can't boil an egg and I want things waiting to pop in the oven when we trail back from London, laden with goodies. :D
