What do you mean exactly?

If you want to purchase one in the US, contact me by DM.  I can provide you with contact information.  (Or just go through Canada like the other poster said)

I do agree that most Americans will not pay full price for a thermomix and most probably won't even if it is re-introduced back into the US market officially.  All of my friends love my thermomix until I tell them how much it cost.  You can buy three vitamix blenders here in the states for what my thermomix cost me.

I believe some folks in the USA have purchased them in Canada but as far as I know, they are not for sale in the US.

Yes and No.  There is a way to purchase one in the US if you look hard enough.   ;)  (I don't mean ebay either)

Just thought I'd let you know that the Thermoserver comes from China....

My DD got some boxes (for packing) from a friend who's neighbour works at Thermomix in Perth. They had 'Made in China' all over them.

My 1.0L thermoserver says "Made in Taiwan".

I found these insulated bowls that are sold in the USA Azure111. It looks like a Thermosaver but has no lid.

Thank you Cornish Cream!  Those do look like exact copies of the thermoserver.

Those are pretty big bowls at 14" diameter and 5" high.  I can make those work though, I think.

Hello all,

American thermomix user here.  I was hoping that maybe someone can help me out here with finding the elusive thermoserver for a decent price.  I am looking for a thermoserver that is either the 2.5L oval or the 2.6L round.  Being in the states makes this bowl next to impossible to buy.  I did manage to find a 1.0L thermoserver, but it is way too small for making yogurt in large batches.

Awhile back, I did communicate with someone on ebay about purchasing one from Australia, but even without the shipping cost involved, the price was very high.  I even tried calling the Canadian distributor hoping they would make an exception for me, nice folks there but they were of no help at all.

Introduce Yourself / Re: Hello from Texas

Thank you everyone for the warm welcome.  I am still reading through the forum and have yet to reply in any other section.   :)

Last night, I made gaucomole in the thermomix.  It came out quite a bit more creamy than I am used to but flavor was good!

When I bought my thermomix, I was worried I would not use it enough to justify the cost.  I end up using it 2-3 times a week though.  It is too bad that this awesome machine is not mainstream in the states.

Welcome Azure.  Help your self to the recipes here,  just remember that the spoon and cup measurements are different if the recipe has been written by an Australian TMX person.   Have fun with your TMX.

Thank you achookwoman

Hi and welcome Azure.  :)
Is the person that told you of the forum a member here too?

I am not sure if she is a member, but she is another American thermomix user.

Hello Azure111, welcome to the forum.  This is certainly the place to be for good advice, great recipes and a good chat.  Have a look at this list of favourite recipes from our member Cream Puff, affectionately known as CP.  They are tried and tested recipes so a good place to start.

Thank you Judy.

A warm welcome to the forum Azure111. You have certainly come to a very friendly place to chat about the Thermomix. What have you cooked in your TM.

Thank you for the welcome.  I have made mashed potatos, various soups, steamed veggies, lemonade, orange juice, etc.  I also tried making the green chili bread that is featured in the cookbook that came with the machine but it didn't come out that well.

Hello all from Texas, USA.

Just purchased a TM31.  Another thermomix user told me about this site and all the great recipes on it.   ;D
