2 meat pies, I made the filling last night.  I managed to drop one taking it out of the oven.  Lasagne, Curried cauliflower soup.  Except for the dropped one they are for DS and family.  Half their house has been stripped out and they have no kitchen.  Their dishwasher leaked and they didn't know.  All walls, cupboards, floor coverings have been removed trying to get rid of the mould smell.  To add to their problems the insurance are being difficult to deal with.
The  man who said it can't be done should not interupt the woman doing it.

Poor DS. Insurance companies will try almost anything to avoid paying out.

I’ve made a  lassis Loaf and another fruit loaf. I used a lot of the previous one for Bread and Butter pudding.

Finerly clutching tomorrow and Saturday , life crazy for a few days . DD has her first hockey game for the season tomorrow night , we are not allowed to go and watch . DS may come home , DH will get him after shears set up for dinner ! Better make yummy crumb cutlets for DH DS and I’ll harp every to help cook for shearer’s ! Not my favourite job but we all do a bit each and it’s so much easier , DH new job chief food organiser.

Mab, feel for your family and having to deal with Insurance company.  DS had similar problem . They threatened to report them to ombudsman.  They also need to read the small print .
Oops, dropping pie.
Made pumpkin veggie soup in TMX yesterday.  Today, grainy bread. Lemon chicken from my blog.

I’ve made some shortbread biscuits with cranberries in. I like the Costco cranberries as they seem to be less ‘dried’ than the ones you get in the supermarket.

Apart from dinner the only thing I made today was tomorrow night’s dinner. We have quite a long car run tomorrow so I thought I would be prepared. It’s RTE baked Sausages.

It all goes in the oven and you have sausages, veggies and gravy. I will put the link in the RTE post.

The shortbread looks delicious Cookie. Haven't done much cooking lately due to having mum in hospital.
Have finally been able to to make something out of the snacks book that Cookie gave me. It is a lovely book with some delicious snacks I hope to make soon.
These are the pizza, rice cakes. It is a very generous recipe making 12 standard size muffins and 2 Texas size muffins.

Nothing here today. We had a car run to Coolup, we did just over 100 miles by the time we got home. It was very enjoyable.
Some of the Model A’s on today’s run.

Surprise biscuits half as lemon drops half with pecans & glace cherries.  I found them very sweet so might reduce the sugar next time.  Apple crumble cake for DIL , her favourite.

Tomato and red lentil soup, this is my favourite soup . Have to start making more robust soups to stop me loosing weight ! I know I should not complain . So thinking of adding some chickpeas and silver beet from the garden too.
