Back to winter today so I've just made a batch of Minestrone soup from the new EDC.

Did anyone used to call them patty cakes back in the dark ages?

We still call them pattie cakes or little cakes.  :)

I can't wait to make those cookie....hopefully I can get stuck into that book this weekend...what to make? There's so many I want to try!

I made the spiced apple & pear paste from the book today....a quicker cheats version  ;) will try some tomorrow, and take a pic....we'll see if My shortcut was clever or dumb  :P

Today I've made
Sophisticated Banana Cake
Magic Bean Cake
GF Bread
Bolognaise

Will also make bechamel for lasagne and maybe macarons :) and maybe pumpkin bread :)

Thanks ladies a rainy day activity, I just used the icing pens for the bows and eyes and this is the recipe I used for the cookies
