Post by: judydawn on September 01, 2015, 08:05:00 am
Thanks Katie - this is what she read on FB today.

Another new Cookbook and Recipe Chip is coming and should be released in a couple of months!

The new Festive Cookbook will have 4 main sections:

- Aussie Christmas
- Traditional Christmas...
- Homemade Gifts
- Easy Entertaining

We will also plan a Christmas Class for November around this book....

I noticed this on Tenina's Facebook this morning. Cecilia had posted it there. Tenina did mention that she is beginning shooting for another Christmas book tomorrow.
She has also released a 2016 Calendar. $22 with free postage. Available from her store.

Some more interesting developments I read on Facebook.  I wonder how much they are planning to charge to use these features.

When I told my DH about the cook-key the first thing he said was "I knew it".  Ever since we got our TM5 he has been saying that it would have some sort of wireless interface inside it and it was only a matter of time before the feature would be utilized.

I was very disappointed in Voerwork last night. The woman who introduced Jo Whitton couldn't speak for nuts. She ummed, erred , ahhed, forgot her glasses, didn't know what to say etc. It was a poor introduction to Jo and very bad considering so many people had paid good money to go and see her.

I wonder what the cook key will allow us to do. I had a little trouble following it.

Dissapointing Cookie.
Yes Katie, I can see a monthly fee.

I think I'd like the option for other recipe developers to perhaps buy a licence to distribute their recipes through the TM platform and then users could buy cookbooks of their choosing (a bit like amazon and e-readers I guess). Will wait to see how it plays out.
