Cooked some silverside and then made the tropical fruit cake.

Interesting dough recipe Uni. Looking forward to seeing how it cooks up next week.

Today I made jelly slice, Belgium lemon tea cake, lemon curd icecream and a roast dinner.

Today I made pancakes, CADA, a big batch of butter chicken and I've made the dough for Helene's one minute bread which I'll bake in the morning. After all that we got takeaway for dinner as I was craving fish & chips! My bad.....

Micky that looks delicious.

Uni the pastry is too easy. Is it nice? Easy to work?

Yesterday, made the Garlic and Herb Pullapart and Tenina's Chorizo, French Lentil and Sweet Potato soup (FFS p57) for two friends who came to lunch.  Turned out to be a great combination - that soup is one of my top favourites and is so filling!!

Also made Chookie's Belgium Lemon Teacake to take to a neighbour who had invited me to dinner . . .first time I've made this and it certainly won't be the last!! ;D

Thursday DD had a belated Birthday Party, and at 3am that morning, I finished making the cupcake oven boxes, to pop in the chocolate cupcakes I had made earlier  (I had forgotten to make the boxes earlier in the week  :-)))

...they were worth the effort, as it made transporting them easy, they're super cute & her friends loved them  :)

Friday night was nibbles & snags at friends place, so I had on the platter was herring in a spiced tomato sauce (Aldi's - yummy on fresh bread), and made marinated procuito roll ups, & the Brie/port cranberry sauce combo

I do so admire the dear ice work you do Maddy. Sadly that gene is missing in my family.
