Favourite tmx cookbook
« on: February 26, 2013, 03:02:28 am »
Hi everyone,
I have been looking at Tenina's cookbooks and drooling.  I also like the look of quick fix in the tmx.  I can't buy all of these lovely books.
Could you pleas tell me what has been your favourite tmx cookbook and why.  I am hoping that your recommendations will help me decide.
Thanks for your thoughts, Natalia

I love love love Quick Fix, but also love my Devil cookbook and my For Foods Sake. Oh and my others too!!!
If I could only get one I would probably go for either Tenina's FFS or QFITT.  :)
Hope that helps.  :)

I love FFS, but I don't have any others to compare, I find I never can get all the recipes on here cooked and if I want to cook something I just go on search and I get so many choices imdon't think I will buy any others for now.

I did lots of recipes from QFITTM and FFS when I first got them (both great books) but I rarely revisit a recipe so I find lately I am either using forum recipes or converting my own. I have a recipe box full of recipes I've tried and liked from the forum so if I'm in a hurry I might pop into it and pick one of my favourites from there.  CP's favourite list is another one which saves you looking on the forum as the best recipes are on her list.

I have a few tm cook books and to be honest have probably only cooked one or two things out of each I generally use the forum for tried and true recipes

The same as Jeninwa and Courton plus QFITT.

I cook mostly from the forum recipes or EDC. But I love Tenina's FFS.

My favourite is Quick Fix in the Thermomix.
I use it a lot along with the forum.

I have dinner spinner and quick fix but rarely use them as I tend to get recipes from the forum.

I would say I am almost a 100% forum or Quirky Jo recipe user.  I have one or two of Tenina's books but I don't know that I have ever actualy cooked any of her recipes.  I have made a few of the recipes from the Indian cookbook and am currently experimenting with recipes from the Revive Cafe in Auckland (these are not TMX books though).

With out a doubt For Food's Sake for all around basics plus great mains and super desserts.
