Mine has arrived.... Thankyou so very much SS from WA.

I needed a little pick me up so as cookie suggested I decided to peep in the post bag.

I loved the kangaroo paper

The parcel had opened itself down one side so I have had a little lookey and I have a very generous selection of presents and the most lovely poem specially for me.

I feel much better now SS thankyou and I have tucked them away again for Christmas.
( if I don't do this they will get lost under the renovation mess which is going on far too long and has really got got me).

Thanks again for your generosity.

Ps will have to find somewhere warm for the cucumbers next year!

Sorry for big pics. I have gone out with iPad to find more broadband so hope this works.

It looks as though it may be a Golden Wattle, although I may well be wrong.

I had to ask Mr Google, about the golden wattle cookbook, this is what he said.

A staple in many Australian kitchens since it was first published in 1926, The Golden Wattle Cookery Book has been a favourite for generations. With clear and easy to follow recipes, from barley water, to fricassee of chicken, to jam tarts, this classic book restores simplicity and ease to cooking. The Golden Wattle Cookery Book also contains all the hints that a novice or experienced cook could wish for, including helpful advice on what to look for when buying and preparing fresh produce. A charming Australian cookbook vital to every household.
I child-proofed my house, but they still get in!

We had The Golden Wattle at school. I love it, although mine is really falling to pieces now.

I've been trying to prepare and send my SS present for about 3 weeks now, but keep getting delayed ... if everything goes to plan I will send it this week ... but then agian, things don't always go to plan so it might be next week ... or perhaps the following week ... definitely before Xmas 2015 anyway!  Hope my recipient is VERY patient!!!

Hello Everyone,

I haven't been on the forum in what seems forever. I got a real lift and surprise when last week my SS gift arrived. I have no idea what it is. It has fragile written on the front in Big Letters so I can't shake it. Here's a pic - Will open it on Christmas Eve if I can wait that long. Thankyou to my SS  :-*
