I made Creamy Beef Curry from the community website. It is always a winner and even better the next day. Also had focaccia bread in the freezer from another baking day.Yum!

I found this recipe tasteless, followed recipe to a tee! Just didn't like the texture, too thick and just not enough flavour. I even added Thai curry paste but still didn't like it.  :(

Hi there, I am having friends for dinner on Sat and my GF is coeliac. Is there a tried and true menu that anyone can suggest. She likes seafood, so thought an entree, and maybe Cyndis GF bread? Or is there another one that is better?  Def dessert as her hubby is a sweet tooth. Suggestions would be most welcome, thanks :)

I guess we aren't the only ones with a Harbour Town. Is anyone from the Gold COsat, Brisbane area?

Your weather sounds terrible Jo, ours not good either. It got to 13  today, which is very low for our winter. Thankfully I worked so was indoors all day.
JudyDawn, do you live on the Gold Coast? You mentioned Harbour Town so thought you must be close by.

Last night I made, 5 seed bread, 2 lots of butter, 2 batches of protein balls, CADA and Magic Bean cake. Just a few goodies as we are going away today. I should have been organising parking but got carried away in the kitchen!

Congrats on the arrival of TM, I too am new and love trolling these forums. So much advice to be given. I now walk through the aisles at the supermarket and don't seem to buy as much. I am passing the biscuits, breads and often think that I  can make something rather than buy it now. It's changed my way of thinking that s for sure. Happy cooking!

Condolences H, never easy losing a parent.

My dear Mum (92) had to have major surgery on her face last year. I didn't realise how much it affected me. Lost weight, couldn't eat, more worried than I showed. She came through it remarkably but it has been very hard on her. Off for her 6 month check up today.  She is Wonder Woman to us!

Last day of work before school hols tomorrow, a few things to whisk up tonight. Sad that TM isn't coming but don't want to risk taking it in car for 7 hour drive. Looking forward to a great week with friends.
