Good morning everyone, what wonderful long weekend weather we've had here.

People come and go Robyn, I'm sure the girls are both OK.  Uni's been on social media.

Gert would have loved it here this morning.  It was 2C when we went down the beach for our morning walk.  It was lovely and crisp and I was adequately dressed though I should have had a scarf wrapped around the bottom half of my face, I was numb when I got back to the car.  ;D

Lovely and sunny now and should be a lovely day.  Supposedly rain coming on Wed and Thursday so will make the most of it.

I've been called in to JD tomorrow so will see if I get picked on that case.  8)

Hi everyone, I haven't been around much lately although I do try and read the forum daily.
Work is busy this time of year and I've been spending a lot of time helping my Mum - she has stopped driving (because of her age and her having Parkinson's) so I've been driving her to appointments, the bank and to get her shopping along with helping her with whatever else she needs help with. I don't mind but it is time consuming.

I still try and cook everyday. Tonight we had Tenina's curried lentil soup with naan bread.
Stay warm everyone.

Hi Katie, there are times in our lives when it's hard to fit everything in.  Our families are our priority.  It's nice that you are able to spend time with your Mum and I am sure she appreciates it.  Xxx

Morning all.
Katie , great to hear that you are just busy and nothing is wrong. I'm sure your Mum appreciates what you are doing for her. Us older mums really appreciate it when we get willing help from family.
CC, I feel for you with the seemingly endless rain. We are getting enough for the veggies to continue to grow.,

CC you must be feeling ripped off, when Summer comes you expect the sun to shine.

Good morning everyone.  The veggie garden looks good Chookie, very healthy looking plants.
Denise, it didn't seem that long ago that you had another summer that was a bit of a fizzer. It must be very disappointing for you to be missing out on the sunshine again.

I love the green of the garden Chookie.

Katie that sounds like me many years ago. At times it is hard to fit taking Mums out, but believe me it gave me many funny and happy memories. Mum had Parkinson's too. It's the pits.

Hi friends.
Another cloudy day with rain showers :-)) A good walk with Chance even though we were pushing our way through the wet weeds that were blocking our path.Got stung a couple of times with the nettles. :P
