Good morning everyone, it seems most of us have rain forecast for today.  Have to take Mum for her hearing check-up, she is due for a new aid - this is the one appointment I don't look forward to.

Thanks Bess. It's been on my to do list for so long now.  One day I will get there!

Good luck Judy.  Hope all goes well with Mum's appointment.

I'm still staying inside here.  So sick of this bug and just want it to vanish.

Trudy I remember you speaking about Lambley at Forumfest last year. I hope you are feeling better soon.

Judy I hope your Mum's appointment went well.

Oh Judy, poor you and poor Mum.   Hope you both survived.
For anyone interested, Lambley nursery and garden was originally established to demonstrate what could be grow in Victoria, where the climate is , hot dry Summers and cold wet Winter. David Glenn , who runs the nursery, has beautifully set out gardens and a shop where busy helpful young people assist.
David's wife paints still life paintings of the garden and flowers. Many can be bought as cards.
Well worth a visit.
Trudy, hope you and Jenny are both feeling better.

We had a male testing Mum's hearing today for the first time.  I explained Mum's mental capacity decline and he was wonderful.  We were out of there in half an hour, not the usual 1 hour.  When the aid is made and fitted in 2 weeks' time, that appointment will be a bit longer but if he has any problems he said he can set it without too much input from Mum.  It will depend on how she is going on the day, today she was good.

I thought you'd be feeling better by now Trudy, you must be sick of yourself.  Get well soon.

More rain >:( A soggy walk with Chance.I did meet another dog walker with her two dogs Tammy and Snowy.Snowy is very cute who loves Chance but Tammy is more laid back and keeps to herself LOL.

Good news that your Mum's hearing appointment went well Judy.

It's amazing the different practitioner makes, Judy.  That was a great visit.

Hope this weather isn't getting you all down, I know we need the cooler weather ( :-\ ) and the rain, but it doesn't mean you have to like it!

After Judy's good experience I thought I would share mine. I went to a physio that had been recommended to me, over the other side of the city. His receptionist was one of the bubbliest people I've met for ages.  He seems to be an excellent physio who speaks a lot of sense. Then this morning I received a call from them to see how I was this morning. Checking that I was ok and not too sore. This was certainly a very pleasant surprise. Such lovely service from lovely, happy people.

What wonderful customer service Cookie.  It's rare these days!

So pleased that all went well yesterday Judy.  Another winters day here!  Thankfully the cortisone is working and my rash is nearly all gone.  Still itchy but at least my face is back to it's normal size.  Just wish I could get warm and stop coughing!

Chookie, the seeds that Lambly sell are fantastic.  They have around a 95-98 germination rate which is so much higher than other companies.  Their customer service is also above average which is another reason to keep going back!

Great follow up service cookie, I guess you'll be going back there!

It sounds as if you still have some way to go before you are back to good health Trudy.  I hope it's not too long though.

Cookie, that is good service. Hope it helps.
Good to hear Trudy, hang in there. Lambley suggest that you keep their seeds in a plastic container in the fridge. They say they should last several years.
