I'm sure horse injections are expensive Robyn, it always amazes me why my cats annual checkup and vaccination is always way more than ours.

Vet bills are expensive and not a good time of year to have extra money to outlay.

I've finished work for the year now. They were trying to convince me to go back to permanent part time next year but I'm very happy being casual. Really thinking about saying no a bit more often and just doing 2 days a week.  ;D

Enjoy your break Michele, learning to say no is not always easy but the more you say it the easier it becomes.

I have got to admit to a lazy day on the couch.
I watched a whole BBC series of 6 episodes of a show called Breathless, about Doctors & nurses in a women's hospital. Lots of secrets & scandals, it was set in 1930's. I did a hard walking hills session this morning, so I didn't feel guilty.

That sounds relaxing Katj.
I did a heap of hand washing this morning. It cooled me down beautifully. I also did a fair bit of reading today too.

Not a lot happening here at the moment. Our power went off unexpectedly at 740am. It is to be off until about 10.30 they tell me. I have no idea why. We have underground power so rarely have outages. No cooking or thermomixing. At least we will be able to use the air con this afternoon.

I've just come in from a trip to Costco and other places with a friend.  Lots of people out shopping today and I bumped into a girl I went to High School with over 50 years ago!  Isn't it great when you still recognise each other after all that time?  No visit to Geoff and Mum today, a girl's just got to shop sometimes LOL.

Nice to bump into old school friends. Yes, sometimes you just need a shopping day.  :D

Our power came back on about 11.30. We have the air con on now as it is not pleasant.

Not a lot doing here. I just had a little nap and now to put out washing. So glad it is cooler today as those hot days really drained me.

It is draining Troupie, I agree. We are already 1/3 way through Summer and so far we have been pretty lucky here in Perth, that's what I keep telling myself. Lol
