Yvette, it can get smoky with some food. I think one of the drumstick dishes that I tried got smoky. Most of the time, it's not. I think if the appliance is kept clean, there's less chance of smoke.

Today's dinner. 1.3kg of free-range chicken marinated overnight with ginger juice, honey, soy sauce, white pepper and salt. Roasted breast down 160C 15 mins, turned and roasted for another 10 mins. The wings and drumsticks were getting burnt. When I checked with meat thermometer, the chicken was not completely cooked yet. So I flipped to breast down, then covered with foil. Increased temp to 180C 4 mins. Added another 5 mins, after checking that it was still undercooked.

Rested the chicken for half an hour. Turned out perfectly juicy. So happy :)

Ahh there is actually a channel called tvsn lol. DH just has it blocked as I complain about too many useless channels in the guide. Seems he will have to unblock it tomorrow. 3:30pm Qld.

I microwaved a couple of potatoes in their jackets for 4 minutes.  Cut them in half, put them in the airfryer on top of baking paper. covered the tops with cheese and seasonings and cooked them for about 10 miins.  They came out perfectly and virtually no mess.  Will definitely do them again.

BZB that chicken looks fantastic.

Yvette we haven't noticed the noise and the only thing that smoked a bit was bacon. I just turned the extractor fan on and it was gone.

I'm going to do some schnitzels tonight.

BZB that chicken looks amazing. I'd love to try a chicken. While it was resting you could do baked vegetables.
May all dairy items in your fridge be of questionable vintage.

Lol it's unblocked now. But the guide isn't working so had to manually set it. Here's hoping it works!
