I had a lovely Italian roll, with salami, olives, sundries tomatoes and onions from the Lobethal Bakery in Woodside. I have no idea how that came about. Then sweets was from Ottos's in Hahndorf. Beesting and a delicious nut slice.

I don't know how much you've eaten out while in Adelaide Cookie but have you noticed that you get good quality food and at great prices there? Not like expensive Perth.

DH doesn't like eating out at all Tasty, but I have beeleasantly surprised with quite a few food prices. Picked up lovely bananas today for $1.99 and tomatoes for $4.98.

I have noticed that a cup of coffee over here is about $1 or $1.50 a cup cheaper than in Perth. Tastes just as nice too.

That sounds great DFM, did you make it yourself? :D

I did DFD. The dressing was light mayo (out of a jar) light sour cream, whole grain mustard and a squeeze of lemon juice.

Everywhere seems cheaper than Perth for going out. I visit Perth a couple of times a year and am always horrified by how much eating and drinking out costs. Am hoping to move back in the next little while and the cost of the fun things is definitely a consideration.

At least Perth now has extended trading hours! Now I just need to hope for daylight saving  ;D
