Thanks Obbie.
We are in for a very warm week.  It is very very dry here and no rain in sight.
CC, glad you are getting some warmer weather.

Good morning everyone.  A week of hot weather coming up.
Chookie, that's good news about Ral.  Sending hugs to you both.

We have a couple of hot days then hopefully it will cool down. I'm even finding 31/32 hot at the moment. Anything over does me in completely.

I’m over summer, roll on winter.  Yesterday my bore packed up so this morning I rang a ‘bore fixer’ recommended by a friend.  He was here within the hour and fixed the problem for just $50 when I was thinking it would be over $500 for a new motor.  It only needed the capacitor replaced, this is the 3rd thing that has gone wrong in the past couple of weeks but one by one the right person has been found to fix the problem and none of them have charged me an arm and a leg.

So, that's your three things over and done with, Judy, and the good part is that you STILL have your arms and legs.  It gets discouraging when everything starts breaking down at the same time but that should be it now for the foreseeable future (says she tongue in cheek!)

I hope so Marina, these problems eat into the time spent trying to do other things.

Great to find reliable tradespeople who don’t charge a fortune Judy.

Judy that is good that you didn't need a new motor. Also that you had a good trades person who didn't decide to charge you the earth.
DH has gone over to a fellow car friends place this morning. This poor lovely man has severe back problems and won't be able to complete the restoration of his car. DH has gone to photograph it and help him sell it.

To sell it as is cookie?  I hope someone will take it off his hands, maybe not your DH though LOL.
A friend’s husband ordered some LED down-lights for me recently and I picked them up from them today, came home and chatted to an electrician on FB and he will fit them for me at the end of next week. I’ve wanted better lighting in the kitchen area for ages, now I can make time to organise and get different jobs done.

The warm weather we are experiencing has broken previous records for February. Mind you March can be cold and snowy.😂
