MF - I made these recently for my DIL as she had seen the recipe but doesn't have a TMX. I thought they were nice but surprisingly the little kids didn't really like them. DIL liked them but said she didn't love them enough to ask me to make them again. Enough sweetness but not sickly. I think the little ones were expecting sweeter as when they have a treat it's usually sweeter than that and DIL has a very sweet tooth. I thought they were just right but  I don't like sugar. I loved the texture.

Delightful Den - MMMMM!!!! These are good!!!

Amy - At first mum thought these were ginger biscuits, because they did smell a bit gingery but she wasn't bothered that they weren't and says they are really yummy. SD ate four at lunch time! I only baked mine for 10 minutes before they started to go a bit too brown around the edges. I had to keep an eye on them to make sure they didn't burn.

deedub - My kids love these, and they have way less sugar than Anzac biccies, so very happy - thanks CP! I found the mixture very sticky & hard to work with but I think that's because mixture was still very warm, seemed to get easier once it cooled down.

Kimmyh - We all loved these and are looking forward to making them again. Very easy and yummy.

Lucyluu - Made these using home made milo. A family favourite. Thanks Creampuff.

Chookie - Made these yesterday.   Not too sweet,  which is a good thing.  Thanks CP .

Jeninwa - My friend and I made these today, here family loved them, don't think there will be many left by now.

Obbie - kids loved them.

Jamberie -  Yummo.  We only cooked ours for ten minutes too.

They are not an overly sweet biscuit I think, but not too bad for you as far as having a biccie (specially if the milo is home made)

Home made Milo? Do share?.. We love Milo at our house, I will try these biscuits for my DD who loves chocolate but is not keen on Anzac biscuits, whose ingredients are similar to the rest of the recipe, and the rest of the house DO like Anzacs, so maybe a compromise here, hope so!

But she wasn't bothered that they weren't and says they are really yummy :D SD ate four at lunch time!

I was lucky that they weren't home to steal the rest, so I have a photo ;)

Oh, and I meant to say that I only baked mine for 10 minutes before they started to go a bit too brown around the edges. I had to keep an eye on them to make sure they didn't burn.
