Free postage?? Wow that's a bargain! Was that on hub and spoke? They'll never last till Christmas!! ;)
Hi Temina, yes Hub and Spoke, both books arrived today so very quick can't wait to have time to sit and read them.

Wonderful news about bubs Blackwood  ;D
It's a great recipe book too! I'm itching to try some of her recipes but time keeps getting away on me!  :-))

So I'm bumping this because I think I might get the kids to get me a cookbook for Christmas - my current thought is Jerusalem by otttolenghi but I'm interested in anyone's thoughts of some good all round cookbooks (I just got a wonderful dessert one from my SS).

The cookbook I am hoping for next is For Food's Sake, but can't find a local supplier with it in stock! Hub and Spoke won't ship here, and via Tenina's site, shipping is quite a lot (about the same as the cost of the book). I've signed up to be notified if it comes into stock to a couple places. Got enough to keep me going really anyway!!  ;D

Did you end up getting Jerusalem? I bought it a few months back. It's a great book.

Love the avatar Sim. Are you still travelling?

Thanks Cookie!

Haven't been to Jerusalem. If I could get a personal tour by Yotam and Sami I'd be there in a heart beat. I bought the book in Berlin and lugged it around with me. Bit silly, as you need to buy certain pantry items to cook most of the recipes.

I'm living in the UK at the moment. In the new year I'll start doing weekend trips to various countries in Europe before I head back to Australia. I'm definitely missing Australian sunshine, coffee, food and culture!

I ordered Suzanne Gibbs pressure cooker book as recommended by quite a few forum members.
Can't find AWW one anywhere. Wish I had bought it in Queenstown when I was there  ;)
But I didn't have a PC then  ;D
