DD checks Amazon, Kobo and wherever before we buy. K Mart was the best price we could find. I'm looking forward to reading it.

I agree, but I  not want to read book books anymore. Makes me cranky big time.

Fair enough. I love how I can take the Kindle or Sony ereader everywhere. Sometimes the book doesn't fit in my bag !

The reason I got the kindle was because it is so easy to travel with - it travels upstairs with me, it travels downstairs with me, it has gone shopping, to the dentist, to the doctor, it goes driving with me, flying with me, it has seen all sorts of countries with me ... I would be lost without it now.

However, the one genre of book I hate on the kindle is a cookbook - I HAVE to have the hard copy.  So apart from the books I bought last week from Book Depositry, everything else is now on my kindle and I love it.

Exactly right . The kindle is always with me. If I  have forgotten it I used to panic but now I have a mini IPad which is attached to me I am still never without a kindle. Sometimes I just have to have both at all times!  The very thought that I could not read while waiting would drive me nuts and you can be absolutely sure I would, never pick up,a stray mag in a doctors waiting room. Yuk times ten. ;D

Me too Gert, I love my kindle.  The only thing I find a pain is quite often the book I want is not available here in Aus for Kindle.

Do a favour and write to you federal member of parliament and tell him to get rid of the parallel importing restriction on books!

I don't have any cookbooks on my ereaders at all. I don't think I would like them either. I hate magazines in doctors rooms. The are usually so old, or if not you get to an interesting article and you are called in.  :'(

I tried to only buy cookbooks to put on my iPad but I've reneged on that scheme. I think I'm buying more cookbooks than ever and I don't know what to do. Apart from the fact that I don't think I can squeeze another book in. I need to have a purge probs which will be hard.

Finished reading The Tea Chest yesterday - we were doing a trade stand with a lot of slow times in it so it was perfect light reading for that.  I enjoyed it, it was an easy read, somewhat predictable, but enjoyable nonetheless.

Glad you liked it Culiidh. It was just a lovely light read. Nice for a change of pace.
