I was mesmerised by his face and seems he's had some nips and tucks. Same, same but different....

Amazing. I posted a day or two ago I am reading the secret life of Bletchley Park only to find at a very dear aunts funeral today that she worked there in admin for a while.

How weird is that?

In 2004 I read a letter from my great grandmother to her son, my great uncle, 100 years to the DAY since she wrote it. Sadly she died unexpectedly of cholera two days after writing the letter. That was very spooky but in a good way.

You have to wonder sometimes. Last month I was cleaning all the junk off the face of the fridge on the day of my nanas funeral two years prior, according to the funeral newspaper clipping. I wondered if she was sending me a message of some sort... Her fridge was always spotless so maybe that was it  :-))

Spooky stories.

What is your next book to read Jess? I keep changing my mind about what to read. Serious or fun. Prose or  garbage. Chick lit or man lit

Wot?

Well that is handy. I am sure they will get books in for you as we'll.

Before Kindle I bought all my books second hand. The library here holds  a sale once a year and people buy wagon loads.

I finished "The Table Comes First" the other day and am now half way through Peter James "Not Dead Yet".  Bit disappointing so far, but nice and light - if you can say that about a murder mystery.  :o

After reading good reviews about Lee Childs Jack Reacher series I have just started reading the Killing Floor.  :)

Don't know how I missed this series of books but better late than never.  :)

You are in for a treat MF. I am savouring  The Vacency but my DD gave me a paper book she borrowed so I am interrupting my JK Rowling again to read Holy Cow by Sarah Macdonald so she can return it. It is hysterical. Loving it.

The first three lines got me in. Can't put it down.

Just had a quick look at Holy Cow And it appeals to my sense of humour and my love of India.  ;D

Thanks for the tip and also on recommending Jack Reacher.

Now my DS and family are living in India I thought  had better get reacquainted. Have not been there in many years.

You are welcome. Maybe your  secret Santa will send you  another Reacher  book or not!

Marie, I enjoy Tess Gerritsen books. I'll be interested to hear what you think of 'The Surgeon'.
