Chookie thank you for reminding me about the SC. I will definitely try the Baby Q if I need too. I can't complain about the oven, it has worked very hard for 12 years. I can always make Varoma bread for toast if I need to.

DS has recently moved back from Sydney. He has been seeing a young lady for a very short time and it's her birthday on Friday. He wanted ideas for a present and I had a kit for a wreath. He said that he would make - I'm thinking great  ??? he has huge hands. He insisted on making it. Looked up a youtube video of the wreath and this is what he produced. I really under estimated him.

This morning I had to be home for the new oven to be delivered. It was here at 8am. I'm very impressed. I then did the food shopping. It's quite warm here today, 38 last time I heard.

Yes Judy, I have to wait for it to be installed now. That looks as though it will be the slowest part of the process.

Go for it Cookie. Who cares if it got to 42.
I have been working progressively and slowly on the veggie garden. Just 2 big beds to clean up now.
Dug up some potatoes. Picked a few small zucchini and tomatoes and fed the silverbeet to the chooks.

Grizzle, grump, groan. I'm going to have a whinge. I need new blades for my 31 so thought I would pop out to HO to get them this morning. It's a reasonable drive over the other side of the river.
Something made me ring first and I find out that they are not open today! Not happy.
But of course there is a plus- I will have to stay home and bake some more bread.
Grizzle over now. I'm off baking.

Very intuitive of you to make that phone call cookie, obviously they're having a very long Australia Day break.
