I must agree re filming. DH took our old car to be involved in a documentary some time back. He was needed all day but the car was only appearing in about 10 or so minutes of it. Fun though.
I went to the chemist this morning-it isn’t cheap!
We had to bring forward our flu shots as the nursing home will only allow us in if we have had the 2021 vaccination. The GP was very good and we are being squished in next week. It’s free entry for all on Mothers’ Day. Seems a bit silly, but they call the shots.

Good news for you Judy.

It is with great sadness that my mum passed away on Wednesday night 5th of May at home . It was a very precious time the last few days . I cared for her with the guidance of the loving carers , they were so good with mum . I will never forget their love to my mum . I held mums hand for hours , it was a very special time . I cried for a long time . I feel so sad but family around is healing .

So sorry for your loss K Atie, our Mums are so precious. May the dear soul Rest In Peace, it must have been so comforting for her knowing you were with her until the end.  I’ve found nursing staff are brilliant with their palliative care whether that be at home or in a nursing home, they are a very important part of our loved ones final days.

Dropped DD Back to college and returned to my DM place no one there ! First night on my own , spoke to a girlfriend for an hour that helped . I’m ok and so is DD but it’s so hard , after all this it’s going to be very quiet .

Are you going to process the olives Marina?

We applied for and got a visa to go way up to my brother's place this morning It is an hour each way on the highway. We had a pleasant visit though.

I am not going to process the olives myself (I don't even like them!)... DH will do some, and we are giving the rest away to friends and neighbours.

KAtie, consider applying to Uni for special consideration for DD.  My DF died while DS and DD were at Uni. It was the only year that DS didn’t get first class honours.   It is only used by the Uni if they fail. Look after yourself.
Cookie, that is very strict that you needed a visa.

Just joking Chookie, it is such a trip we say that. I do the same to Tenina.

Yes definitely apply to the uni KAtie. They are very good. DD had something similar during her first year uni exams. In fact from memory she didn't even sit the exam, but did the supp exam when it was on a couple of months later.

We had our flu needles this morning.

I had my Covid jab last night at a hospital clinic, easy process and I didn’t feel a thing (yet!)
