Title: New to the Thermo world
Post by: CoyoteUgly on April 19, 2013, 09:35:37 am
Hi everyone

Thought i would introduce myself.  Im a mum of 1 (18 mth old girl) with another girl due to make her appearance in June.

I have just ordered my TM31 so yet to receive it but thoroughly researching recipes so when it does arrive I can start using it.

Im really excited with my purchase and hoping the food will satisfy my very fussy husband.  My daughter and I will eat anything and everything.

Im hoping with purchasing the TM it will make life easier in the kitchen with a newborn and toddler and also I will know what is going into the food and what we are eating.

Hello CU, welcome to the forum.  I do hope you find some nice recipes to start DH off on, some of them can be rather fussy.

Check out CP's list of favourite recipe here (http://www.forumthermomix.com/index.php?topic=6470.0), she has picked out some beauties there.

Welcome to the Forum CU and I am sure you will get plenty of use out of your TMX - just as for advice on the Forum and it will come pouring in.

Welcome to the forum CU. My daughter uses her thermi for making all the food for my 6 month old grandson. She says it's so easy to whip up something for him with the added bonus that she knows everything that has gone into it with no added nasties.

Thanks for the warm welcomes.....

Can I ask what cookbooks you recommend?  Esp for a meat eating husband that is fussy!

Miss T arrived and loving it so far but stumped as to what to cook  :-\

Hello and welcome CU! Glad to hear your thermomix has arrived safely :D

In regards to recipes, I think a lot of members use the forum as a main source, but Tenina's books For Food's Sake and Quick Fix in the Thermomix are pretty popular. You can find contents pages and recipe reviews for the books here: http://www.forumthermomix.com/index.php?board=48.0 (http://www.forumthermomix.com/index.php?board=48.0)
The is a book called Meat on the Menu which might be a good one for your meat loving hubby, but I haven't heard many reviews about it so maybe check out the contents page and some of the reviews here: http://www.forumthermomix.com/index.php?topic=8392.0 (http://www.forumthermomix.com/index.php?topic=8392.0)

Hope this helps! ;D
