Stock Pastes
« on: September 23, 2017, 01:33:10 am »
Hi,
Just a quick question...if a recipe calls for a particular stock paste can I substitute a different one?
I'm making a pulled pork that asks for a Chicken Stock but I have plenty of veggie or meat stock. Don't want to necessarily make another stock at this stage.
Thanks for your help  :)

I would use what you have on hand jamelfarm, I'm always substituting ingredients when I cook.

I only ever make veggie stock and use that for everything. Sometimes if it is a meat dish and I think it needs a bit of oomph I will put Tenina's umami in.
